Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Heaven’s Moving website and the moving services we provide. Heaven’s Moving is a licensed and insured Virginia moving company operating in the Greater Richmond region under US DOT and MC authority and Virginia intrastate moving registration. By requesting a quote or booking a move, you agree to these terms.
Quotes and flat-rate pricing
We provide a binding flat-rate estimate in writing before we load, based on the inventory and access information you give us. If the actual scope changes on moving day — additional items, added stops, or access conditions not disclosed when you booked — the price may be adjusted, and we will discuss any change with you before proceeding. Hourly rates, where quoted, are billed in line with the rates stated at booking.
Booking and cancellation
Your date is confirmed once we schedule it with our office. If you need to reschedule or cancel, contact us as early as possible so we can adjust the truck board. We reserve the right to reschedule a move when severe weather — such as a Central Virginia ice storm or snow — makes roads unsafe for our crews and your belongings.
Liability and valuation
Standard coverage is released value at $0.60 per pound per article, as set by federal regulation. Full-value protection is available at additional cost, and we carry cargo coverage of up to $1,000,000 per shipment. Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within the time limits allowed under applicable law. We are not liable for items packed by the customer (PBO), for pre-existing damage, or for cash, jewelry, documents, or other items of extraordinary value unless arranged in advance.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate inventory, addresses, and access details when booking
- Disclose stairs, stoops, walk-ups, elevators, and parking restrictions
- Secure parking and building access for our truck and crew where required
- Be available, or have an authorized adult available, at both ends of the move
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the move unless other arrangements are made in writing in advance. We accept the payment methods listed at booking.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will be posted on this page.
