Henrico doesn’t have one downtown — Richmond sits in the middle and the county sprawls out around it. That means the West End and the East End feel like two different worlds, and we move both the same way: our own trucks, our own W-2 crews, the same guys on both ends of the haul.

• Short Pump & Glen Allen — newer brick homes off I-64 and Nuckols Road, big basements, two- and three-car garages, and a lot of stairs.
• Lakeside & Tuckahoe — established mid-century neighborhoods with mature trees, tighter driveways, and the occasional crawlspace instead of a basement.
• Sandston & Highland Springs — out by Richmond International, ranches and split-levels where we stage the truck close and keep the walk short.

Out east in Sandston and Highland Springs the lots open up and parking gets easy, which usually means a faster day. Either way, two movers and a truck run $139/hr and a three-mover crew runs $189/hr, blankets, dollies, and shrink-wrap included, and we hand you a binding flat rate in writing before anyone touches a box.

Henrico winters can throw an ice storm that glazes the West End hills, so from December into March we lay heavy floor protection against salt and red-clay mud and watch the forecast on move day.
