Through the Valley and over the mountains
Nashville is our longest regular run — about 610 miles. We head out of Richmond on I-64, pick up I-81 down the Shenandoah Valley, then turn west on I-40 through the mountains into Middle Tennessee. That’s nine to ten hours of driving, so I schedule it as a two-to-three-day move with a delivery window we lock in before the truck leaves Richmond.
