We don’t improvise. We bring piano boards, skid plates, four-wheel dollies, and real rigging straps, and we walk pianos up and down stairs with technique, not brute force.
The difference shows up on the hardest carries. Getting an upright down a steep Fan stoop, or a seven-hundred-pound gun safe up the half-turn of a basement stair in a West End colonial, is a planned sequence — where the straps anchor, who holds the low end, how the piece pivots through the door.
