Movers in Powhatan County, VA

Powhatan is the far-western edge of how far Central Virginia families spread out — past the Chesterfield line, down Route 60, into a county that’s still mostly country. Homes here sit on acreage, well off the road, often with a garage or workshop out back. That’s a different kind of move than a city rowhouse, and we’re built for it.

The county seat at Powhatan anchors the Route 60 corridor, with Moseley straddling the Chesterfield line to the east and Macon and Flat Rock spread through the rural west. We run the whole county with our own fleet and our own W-2 crews — never a broker, never day labor.

Out here the move is rarely just the house. Powhatan properties come with detached garages, workshops, sheds, and the occasional barn, and folks underestimate how much that adds — so we count all of it at the walkthrough. Long gravel or dirt driveways are normal, and after rain or a winter storm the footing matters; we stage the truck on solid ground and shuttle if we have to. Because Powhatan is a longer run from the city, drive time goes into the estimate up front, never as a fee after you’ve signed.
